Help me please.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Let me begin by asking you some questions. How do we get from 1 to 5? How do we get from 5 to 9? from 9 to 13? Does this "ring a bell" with yo u?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. Thats why im on this site man.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the common difference is 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can someone give me a answer?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Well, Rached, first you say "no," then you give me the common difference, which is 4.and is 100% correct. Each successive term is = to the preceding term, plus 4. Can you write that as a recusion formula?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hope you're not just looking for "answers." I'm delighted to guide you through a problem solution, but anything but delighted to just provide answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A(n)=A(n-1)+4;29??

OpenStudy (mathmale):

While I'm not going to check every detail of your reply, yes, I believe you're on the right track. You can check your 8th term by writing out all of the first 8 terms.
