Simplify Equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have it simplified down to \[\frac{ 4(x-6)(x-2) }{ 3x(x-6)(x-6)}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 4(x-2) }{ 3x(x-6) }\] You can only cancel out one x-6 Pretty sure thats right though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, the answer choices I have all have different denominators? I got as far as what you just did too. But I figured I did something wrong because it wasn't a choice/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are your answer choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

These.

OpenStudy (nikato):

U simplified ur denominator wrong. It's suppose to be 3x+1(x-6)

OpenStudy (nikato):

*(3x+1)(x-6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you picked the wrong factors for the numerator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The factors for 48 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 48. Pick from these to find your factors for the numerator that multiply to 48 and can add up to 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

negative 32
