ok this is an essay related question, when a prompt states discuss something between two things, does that mean like to compare and contrast them or like to discuss that thing between those 2 time periods?
Depends on what class. English or history? For English, in most things at different time periods, they want a comparison of some sort. It might be a compare and contrast or something along the lines of "the more things change, the more they stay the same," where you focus more on similarities. Other times you might want to focus more on differences. All three of these are very similar papers. One takes a more balanced approach where as the other two focus in more on what is the same or different. For history, they might want the above OR they might want to know what has happened between. It would depend on the working of the question.
Oh my gosh, Thank you soo much
Also look for key words in the prompt. What is similar between, how different is, and other phrases that help show if they are looking for something specific.
