How do you put -2x+3y=3 into slop form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isolate 1y on the left side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pick a variable...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well okay so i kind know how to but i get stuck. I know you have to subtract 3y to both sides and get -2x=3-3y. Now what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was taught to divide. you really should want y by itself, so i would divide 3 by 2 and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well after my step i guess you have to then divide the -2 to all variables

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=3/-2 - 3y/-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you want to get y by itself so you'd do 3y=2x?+3 then divide by the 3... so I think its y=2/3x+1
