Okay i need advice its not homework related but its important to me,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my best friend's friend (i have some very colorful words for her but lets call her 'Lucy') is really just like a mean girl, and causes alot of drama and i really don't like her but my bestfriend is kinda against her and what not, but i have a new friend but shes all buddybuddy with "lucy" and everytime i talk to her about 'lucy' somehow 'lucy' finds out, mind you my bestfriend is also friends with lucy and i'm not sure whos telling lucy my new friend or my bff this all seems fishy and i need advice from someone who's not apart of it. who should i trust? should i just stop being friends with both of them or.......?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, slow down and explain what's happening please. Your best friend's friend is causing problems between you and your best friend as well as this new friend?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my new friend and my best friend were in close nit with lucy,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To be honest, if you really want to find out whose telling "Lucy" Then just tell one person something, then tell the other something else, just so you know who is telling Lucy what you're saying about her.

great idea, thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would suggest just asking them upfront, but I'm a direct kind of person. Yuba has a good point there, actually. Heh didnt think of that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's all good:P im upfront too, but Im a bit agressive when Im annoyed as well...Just tried the safe approach this time haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you both :D i think i'll use @Yuba 's idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Some advice: Stay away from the one talking behind your back. Might even be both of them. Someone who betrays someone's trust like that isn't really a great friend.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, Yuba's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a good rule of thumb not to say something about someone that you wouldn't say directly to them. Then you don't need to worry about people repeating what you say.
