CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!?!?!?!?!?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (-1, 3) and perpendicular to y = -negative one thirdx + 7. y = 3x - 12 y = 3x + 6 y = 3x - 6 y = 3x

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

it's the second equation!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OKAY i have a few more, can u help?

A sequence has its first term equal to 3 and each term of the sequence is obtained by adding 5 to the previous term. If f(n) represents the nth term of the sequence, which of the following recursive functions best defines this sequence? f(1) = 3 and f(n) = f(n - 1) + 5; n > 1 f(1) = 5 and f(n) = f(n - 1) + 3; n > 1 f(1) = 3 and f(n) = f(n - 1) + 5n; n > 1 f(1) = 5 and f(n) = f(n - 1) + 3n; n > 1

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

I dunno this sorry :(

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

What's the next one?

Sarah deposited some money in a bank. The bank paid her a simple interest every year. After t years, the amount of money f(t), in dollars, that the bank paid Sarah was $1500 greater than 15 times the number of years. Which statement best describes the steps to sketch a graph showing the relationship between f(t) and t? Label t on the x axis and f(t) on the y axis and plot a graph having slope = 1500 and y intercept = 15. Label f(t) on the x axis and t on the y axis and plot a graph having slope = 50 and y intercept = 100. Label t on the x axis and f(t) on the y axis and plot a graph having slope = 15 and y intercept = 1500. Label f(t) on the x axis and t on the y axis and plot a graph having slope = 1500 and y intercept = 100.

I'm sorry :( I have no idea :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:( wanna try a few more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -negative three fourthsx + 4 y = -negative four thirdsx + 4 y = three fourthsx - 4 y = 4 thirdsx - 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Potatoes.ramu

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

Are you sure the equations are right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. Ill put them up in number form if I can

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

Okay :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y= -\frac{ 3 }{ 4 }x +4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that one is A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is B \[y= -\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }x +4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Potatoes.ramu

OpenStudy (potatoes.ramu):

These equations are strange. y=4 and x=3 according to the graph. But they don't satisfy any of these equations.
