V=1/3pi*r^2*h. Solve for h

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

\(V = \dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h\) You want h by itself, so you need to get rid of the 3, pi, and r^2 from the right side. Anything that is multiplying h (pi, and r^2), divide both sides by it. Anything that the right side is being divided by (the 3), multiply both sides by it.
