PLEASE HELP!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6x-2x+3y+5y=14+6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer4

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

what you want to do ?

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

6x−2x+3y+5y=14+6 4x+8y=20 simplify by 4 x+2y=5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use substitution to solve the system of equations. \[6x-3y=6\] \[2x+5y=14\] A. \[\frac{ 1 }{ 3 },\frac{ -4 }{ 3 }\] B. (2, 6) C. (2, 2) D. infinitely many solutions

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

6x−3y=6 2x+5y=14 so simplify first one by /3 2x-y=2 no find y from it 2x-2=y now put y in second equation 2x+5y=14 --->2x+5(2x-2)=14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amoodarya

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

2x+5(2x-2)=14 2x+10x-10=14 12x=24 x=2 ok and y=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no clue how do solve for Y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amoodarya

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

first we fond y from the 1st equation y=2x-2 now you can put x=2 in it and find y now y=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Y=2 THANK YOU!!!

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

your welcome
