The graph below illustrates 2 intersecting lines. If a new line is drawn so that it passes through the red line at y = 0 and the blue line at x = –1, what is the slope of the new line? http://media.education2020.com/evresources/2003-09-02-00-00_files/i0320000.jpg

PLEASE HELP
@lauluisa
I could be wrong about this, but if y = 0 and x = -1, it is a horizontal line with zero slope
Ya its not an answer choice
what are your answer choices ?
A) -3/2 B) 2/3 C) 3./2 D) -2/3
Ill be right back i got to pick up my brother
I am not sure....I read it wrong to begin with, but now that I look at it, I am still not getting your answer choices. I am getting -1.
Well, Im very confused, I did the following: The two points that the graphs shows are (-4,-2) and the new point is (4,2)... I plugged this and it gave me that the slope was 1/2 So... Im confused.
Oh! now I get it! the anwer is B. 2/3
The slope between (-4,-2) and (-1,0) is: 2/3
