@Mertsj
I don't see any question here.
Yea im posting them
This is the first one
@Mertsj ?
\[\frac{x ^{\frac{1}{3}}}{x ^{\frac{1}{12}}}=x ^{\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{12}}=x ^{\frac{4}{12}-\frac{1}{12}}=x ^{\frac{3}{12}}=x ^{\frac{1}{3}}\]
\[\sqrt[32]{x \times x^2\times x^5}=\sqrt[32]{x^8}= x ^{\frac{8}{32}}=x ^{\frac{1}{4}}\]
@Mertsj can you help me with the other 2?
Can you do this one @Mertsj
She knows what part of the job Allen and Brianne do in the number of hours they work so the rest of the job must be done by Charles.
can u set up the function?
@Mertsj can you step up the function.?
I only need help with this last one im done please
Let x be the number of hours it takes the three to complete the job and let t be the number of hours it takes Charles by himself. \[\frac{x}{16}+\frac{x}{18}+\frac{x}{t}=1\]
okay
can yu solve it?
No. Not unless you know how many hours it took them to do the job all together.
k give me a min
i dont know how do i do it?
@Mertsj
You are not supposed to solve the equation according to what I read.
ohh k if you had to solve it how long would it take charles alone?
You are only supposed to explain how having them do the job together and find out how long it took them would enable you to discover how long it would take Charles by himself.
@Mertsj I posted another question you think you can help me solve that one? http://openstudy.com/study?source=email#/updates/52d5fd6fe4b0274b88c56853
