\(\Huge\bf Welcome~to~ \color{#00B4ff}{Open}\\ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\Huge\bf\color{#7cc517}{Study~!!}~\) Hi! Right, I will do my best to explain c: The answer is It accelerates at a rate of 9.8 m/s/s. And this is why: Earth has a gravitational field. One definition of gravitational field strength (g) is the acceleration an object undergoes under the influence of a gravitational field. The gravitational field strength (g) of the Earth is 9.8(1) m/s/s, which means that any object inside this gravitational field will accelerate under the gravitational influence of 9.8 m/s/s, where the object's mass doesn't matter. Assuming that air resistance is negligible all objects will accelerate on Earth at the same rate of 9.8(1) m/s/s. Hope I helped c:
