@Ammarah @agent0smith @april115 @agent0smith @Ammarah @beccaboo333 @cc8597 @thadyoung

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is ..... -3,1 ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

CAN U SHOW ME HOW YOU GOT THE ANSWER

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind made a mistake it is 1 solution right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how to solve it which is why I asked

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 2 lines intercect at one point which means that it has only one solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by the way do you know how to solve this How many solutions exist for the system, x + y = 1 and y = -x + 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how many solutions intersecting lines and parrele and overlapping lines have I just wasn't sure what the question was asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and no I don't know show me please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is like this.. you graph the equations and then see where they intersect... but I can't draw it here can you???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no but ok thanks can you help me with another question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i found out the answer to my question it is infinitely many solutions because they are the same lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The table below shows some values of f(x) and g(x) for different values of x. x f(x) = 9x + 7 g(x) = 5x -2 -11 -1 -2 0 1 1 5 2 Complete the chart and determine the solution of the equation f(x) = g(x)? x = -1 x = 0 x = 2 x = 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is g(x) and then I should be able to solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when x is -1 does that mean that f(x) is -2 and g(x) is -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how to fill out the chart I wouldn't be able to tell you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think that that is it you just plug in the numbers from x on either side or something like that i don't know ill ask for you k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

although not sure how to ask...
