Please help me with this problem: x ≤ 5 and x ≥ 4 One-Variable Compound Inequalities

OpenStudy (nikato):

4<=x<=5

OpenStudy (nikato):

Btw the <= are less than or equal to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do understand the less than or equal to part.

I am not sure how to solve this per the assignment. I kind of need help with the steps.

OpenStudy (nikato):

It's kinda hard to explain it. Because its pretty obvious. U have x<5 and x>4 if u switch the second u have x<4. So x is less than 5 and also greater than 4, which means x is between 4 and 5 so 4<x<5 Does this explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the graph line on the number line would between the 4 and 5?

OpenStudy (nikato):

Correct. And u would have close circles at both 4 and 5 because x can equal 4 or 5

Okay thank you
