For A the slopes intersect because they have different slopes 4^x does not equal 2^(x+2) 2^(x+2) = 2^x*2^2 =2^x*4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They intersect at the point 4^x = 2^(x+2) because they cross at that point; they have the same x and y value except have different slopes. (rhetorical answer but hopefully you get the point)

For B) I think that you can plug in the points -3 through 3 and see which is the same.

For C) you can graph both of the equations on the same x, y axis and see where they intersect. (using the table you made for part B).

Is that good for an explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup.

I am still a little confused on Part B could you please explain more?
