Factor by Grouping. I'm not sure if I'm doing this right?

I ended up with (x-3y)(x-3) But on my online homework they don't give that as an answer choice? They give 5(x-3y)(x-3) but I don't know why? They also give "none of the above" which I'm always afraid to choose as an anser because I'm usually not confident.

5x(x-3y) - 15(x-3y) is a start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can factor the common factor of 5 out of the whole thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(5x - 15)(x - 3y) = 5(x-3)(x-3y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

clear that there is a common factor of 5 there yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH!! Thank you! I totally just had the 5 disappear instead of pulling it out!
