for medal: when should i use degree or radians on a calculator and why?
You should use whichever your directions/teacher tells you to use. Or is this more like a question about real life application? I don't quite understand the question..
this question is for setting f" to 0
lets say i have sin(numerical value not expressed in radians)=0, would i use degree or radian mode?
Like you somehow ended up with something likeeeeee... sin(3) = 0 Err I guess we still have a variable in our sine somewhere, right? So are you getting something like sin(3x) = 0?
You're being way too general, it's so hard to answer this question.
If you could post the actual example it might help D:
2cos(-1)(sin(-1))^2 = 0
So you have something telling you to plug -1 into the function? Like f''(-1) = 0 I assume.. an inflection point or something. Usually when you have a `pi` or something it makes it easier to see what's going on. Because you'll almost never have pi thrown at you in degrees. But also any numerical value should be measured in radians unless it was specified otherwise. I dunno, you're still not giving enough information...
it is f"
