Any ideas on what these terms would be? State three terms that mean "solution" for quadratic equations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was wondering the same..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I feel kinda dumb that I can't figure them out. Word problems seem like they're trick questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

zeros should be one of them right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah maybe. I just googled and found this on: http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/Alg/SolveQuadraticEqnSummary.aspx Two real distinct (i.e. not equal) solutions. A double root. Recall this arises when we can factor the equation into a perfect square. Two complex solutions.

Seem legit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm give me one second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

zeros... roots...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and x intercepts...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

99.999% on that...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That actually sounds familiar. Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :) you were actually my first question!

@ShelbyLogan8 I think these are the answers if you need them
