Which of the following could be an example of a function with a domain (-∞,∞) and a range (2,∞) ? Check all that apply. a. y = 3^x + 2 b. y = - (3)^x - 2 c. y = 0.25^x + 2 d. y= - (0.25)^x - 2

a and c

how are you so smart?

OpenStudy (kainui):

He's actually not, how do you know he's actually not wrong? He would have explained it if he actually knew what he was talking about.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just graph 'em

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Once I graph them I don't know how to read it to see what is infinity...

OpenStudy (kainui):

That seems legitimate, I don't think anyone knows what happens at infinity since most of the time infinity is just another way of saying "increasing without bound". I don't think anyone's ever been there. So is this a calculus or algebra sort of class first of all, because I will give you different advice depending on which.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's PreCalc/trig

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it's not a and c then is it b and d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm going to put b and d. I hope they are right...
