For No. 1, for example, you can find 'y' by multiplying 6 x 23.
This is because 'y' divided by 6 = 23. So you do the opposite of dividing (multiplying) to the other side (23) which gives you the answer 138.
No. 2 is 4 x 26 = 104 - uses the same method as no 1.
No. 3, you are trying to find x so, since 64 = 8x (8x means 8 multiplied by 'x'. You would do the opposite of multiplication (division) to the other side (64).
So 64 divided by 8 = 8.
No. 4 uses the same method as 3, so it would be 156 divided by 12 which equals 13.
Just so you understand..
Also @plohrr made a miscalculation on No. 2.
