Not looking for an answer, just for some help please!

Given a polynomial f(x), if (x - 2) is a factor, what else must be true? f(0) = 2 f(0) = -2 f(-2) = 0 f(2) = 0

This seems super easy, but I'm not sure what to do...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is a polynomial, there must be another factor which when multiplied gives you f(x). So f(x) = (x-2)*(Some polynomial) Hence, if you plug in x as 2, x-2 will become 0, and anything multiplied by 0 is naturally 0. All the best :)

Thank you so much, that's all I needed! @Mathbreaker
