Question will be on the description. What would be the easiest way on doing this problem? @Mertsj

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The easiest way is to remember that 2 is the only even prime so the one whose only even factor is 2 would be the correct choice.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Can you explain by what you mean with "so the one whose only even factor is 2"?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Look at the first answer choice. It is 16. The factors of 16 are 2, 4, 8, and 16 All of those factors are even and only 2 is a prime number. So it couldn't be 16

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Can you explain by using the example of 22? @Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The factors of 22 are 2 x 11 Both of those are prime numbers

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Thank you.
