Which inequality does the graph represent? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1312500_1313000/1312937/1/7dc017c9329cf18793aa8df5e9b72c802dd13a15/HS_A1G2_S1_07_14_114281.jpg A. y ≤ 1 – 3x B. y < 1 – 3x C. y > 1 – 3x D. y ≥ 1 – 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

heyy ;) remember me? lol i'll try to solve this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yepp :) Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am done with inequalities let me look

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i might know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmmm alright what unit and lesson

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am lookin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unit 7 lesson 13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im unit 7 lesson 13 ooo opps i am stupid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the same but wait i have graphs for a b c and d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha. No it's a different question I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awww :( is it the 1st one thoe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm ok well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@PigPresident the best at math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o man shes not online

@twinz1999 @iron0man @imawesome101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude @agent0smith are you stan smith lol im not makin fun of you its cool

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It's a solid line which means you can eliminate < or > choices, those are dashed lines. A. y ≤ 1 – 3x D. y ≥ 1 – 3x Do a point test for (0, 0) - plug in x=0 and y=0 into each of those choices, check which one works (ie which is true, since the shading is where (0, 0) is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does the last part mean?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Just plug x=0 and y=0 into each choice: A y ≤ 1 – 3x D y ≥ 1 – 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how so....?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

By plugging them in. ie replace y with 0 and x with 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so is it A?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

idk, check: y ≤ 1 – 3x plug in x=0, y=0 0 ≤ 1 – 3*0 0 ≤ 1 which is true. If you checked D you'd get 0 ≥ 1 which is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah okay well then I think it's A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agent0smith is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@itsannalea did u get any of my questions??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm no idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which inequality does the graph represent? A. y ≤ – 4x + 25 B. y < –4x + 25 C. y ≤ –2x – 4 D. y ≥ –2x – 4 http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1312500_1313000/1312939/1/21e87b8fd842b0e1882437c3566945f7f6de18dc/HS_A1G2_S1_07_14_114283.jpg
