What is simplified radical form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It means that you simplify until there are no more square roots or cube roots also it means removing all radicals in a denominator in a fraction

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

simplified radical form means you've taken out all of the square factors. for example sqrt(8) is not in simplified radical form, because it could be written as sqrt(2*2*2) and we could take out a pair of 2s, giving us 2 * sqrt(2) sqrt(7) is in simplified radical form, because there are no square factors you should also rationalize the denominator so that it doesn't have any radical signs.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

or write it as a radical over the fraction
