In a pedigree, an open circle represents a a. person without the trait. b. person with the trait. c. child. d. deceased person. I know it's not C, because this was on a quiz i took and i choose it, which it was wrong.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

I've never seen an open circle in a pedigree, did you mean empty, as in "not coloured in"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope this is what my teacher listed on the test. @aaronq

OpenStudy (aaronq):

weird. a circle represents a female, regardless of their phenotype.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know about the male and female. but, i didn't know this one, i searched in my book and got nothing. I tired child, like I said up there it was wrong. so it has to be a, b, or d.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Use the link I provided and do elimination to possible answers.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

i would go with "a. person without the trait"

I'm not going to give you the direct answer. It's your test. Do what you feel would be the answer based on what I already gave you.
