How do you do these problems I'm lost. I will attach the picture of the question.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Let's look at (a). Can you find g(2) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

At (0,2)?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

What y value does function g have when x = 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would I find 2 on the X axis the go up till I find a point where the line of g intersects at 2? Would it be 5?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Exactly. g(2) = 5

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Now to finish (a), you need to do f(5). Find 5 in the x axis, and look up the y value of f(x).

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Did you find f(5) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I get it! So it would be f(5)=4. So that's all I do. X=the number given for either f or G then when I find the y I then plug that in the remaining problem and find it for g or f. Would c) be rewritten as f(g(0)) where g(0)=2 then f(2)=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No sorry counted wrong g(0)=3 then f(3)=0

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Exactly.
