solve for which variable y ?
is this ur question @dirtydan667 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes y
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
ok.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
can you give a good explain about it to
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
y(1/m+1/n)=p

OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
y/m+y/n =y(1/m+1/n)
is it clear ?
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
2/3+2/5=2(1/3+1/5)
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
this is just an example
2/3+2/5=2(1/3+1/5)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so a woulb be like this .........1=1*1/2 ?
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
no !

i did it like this all the letters except p equal 1......and p =2
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
(2/3+2/5) can be written like this 2(1/3+1/5) !
so y/m+y/n becomes y(1/m+1/n) .
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
3/7+3/10=3(1/7+1/10)
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
other examples .
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
5/11+5/13=5(1/11+1/13)

am i correct in saying it like this tho
i did it like this all the letters except p equal 1......and p =2
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
y(1/m+1/n)=p
becomes
y=(p/(1/m+1/n))
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
1/m+1/n can be written as
(n+m)/mn or (m+n)/mn
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
then final value of y becomes
y=p/(m+n)/(mn)
y=((p*m*n)/(m+n))
or y=(pmn)/(m+n) which is your final simplified answer !
