solve 3x^2+13x=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 10 from both sides, then use the quadratic formula, or solve by factoring (if possible)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Yes, psantos is correct. I recognized immediately that 3x^2+13x=10 is a quadratic equation because of the 2nd power of x present, and also the fact that the first power of x and a constant are also present. Following psantos' advice: 3x^2+13x-10=0. I certainly have some suggestions for factoring this quadratic equation and/or solving for x. But first, crystelle, what approach would YOU first choose to use?
