How could I go about solving this? (will give medal & fan) "One international inch is about 0.999 of a U.S. survey inch, which is a difference of about 3.2 millimeters per mile. How many miles would it take to cause a difference of 5.0 millimeters?"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know two miles would equal a 6.4 millimeter difference, a mile and a half would equal a 4.8 millimeter difference, and a mile and three-quarters would equal a 5.6 millimeter difference... so it's between 1 1/2 and 1 1/4 miles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I just divide 5.0 by 3.2 and get 1.5625, would that be the amount of miles needed? 1.5625 miles?
