QB: Would you please type out what you know about "median" in geometry? That's the key to the first problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okayy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

h you want the median of a triangle right ? a line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposing side

OpenStudy (triciaal):

so what line segment goes from the vertex B to the midpoint of the opposite side?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Perfect. And in your problem there are two such media. In the third case you have a line from one vertex to the side opposite, but not to the midpoint of that side. Good question, tricia!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if only if i knew , i would tell you guys ;)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

QB: Hint: line segment AF is NOT a median. Please look at your definition of "median" and at tricia's question and try answering again.
