Express 3a 2 b -1 with positive exponents.

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

@phi I need some help :(

OpenStudy (phi):

you should use ^ to show exponents... I assume you mean 3 a^2 b^(-1) ? to get rid of negative exponents, "flip" the expression. for example: 3^(-2) is the same as 1/(3^2) and 1/(3^-2) is the same as 3^2

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Thank you that was very helpfull :)
