I wish I could give you the answer. its way easier than explaining, but they say that there's a policy here. so in multiplication - x^2*x^3= x^(2+3)=x^5 they add up in division - x^2/x^3= x^(2-3)= x^(-1) substract (special condition (x^2)^3= x^(3*2)=x^6 )
