Find the median for the following set of data. 8, 3, 7, 4, 7, 4, 2, 5 4 5 4.5 5.5

Well you would order them first from least to greatest... 2 , 3 , 4 , 4 , 5 , 7 , 7 , 8 Now get down to the middle number...look we have two... 4 and 5 are in the middle...so what we do...is we add them...and then divide by 2..(sounds a lot like the mean right?) ...so (4 + 5) / 2 equals...?

4.5 all you do is take the 2 middle numbers and add them and then divide them
