The white berries cause digestion problems which are manifested in the form of rashes. The berry plant secretes a sap which causes rashes when it comes in contact with human skin.

I think statement 2 will be correct. Statement 1 says nothing of corelation rather just tells about the medicine. 3 no statement tells about the result of berries. And statement 4 tells about the cause of rashes.Thus "I" think that statement 2 should be appropriate

Yes. Statement 2 suggests that when he eats white berries from othr locatins, he does not get rahes, so there is something other than the berries themselves tht are the problem, something particular to his garden. Pesticide?
