World-wide food supply, or the ability to produce food, generally grows linearly while population tends to grow exponentially, if left unchecked. Explain why this is such a problem and illustrate with graphs.

|dw:1391128488620:dw||dw:1391128534256:dw| please excuse my really bad drawings :) lets say the food production and population both start at 5 food production goes up at a linear rate of 5 per year. the population rate goes up at an exponential rate of 2 after 5 years your food production is at 25, but your population is at 80 this could be sort of a problem
