@JackSmiley

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you remember rules of opposite facing angles?

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. :)

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, look at the answers and see how they relate to the figures.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

C or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The short sides should be in ratio to the short sides on the other trapezoid.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

A u mean

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. Think of the second trapezoid flipped the same way as the first. Now compare them. Short side with short side, and long side with long side.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

ohh i got it its D lol

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

am i right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, that is not correct. 3.12 is the long side of the second trapezoid, while 5 is the short side of the first.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

then it must be B

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

sorry its C

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

5 and 1.2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a book or some written text you may reference, or are you taking an online course? And yes, 5 and 1.2.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

its an online course i am so weak at geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, I took an online course before for COMS and it was terrible... And geometry can be tricky, but you just need memorize a few things; a lot of it can be referenced back to basics. :)

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

i understand but its very tricky and i give up wen i cant do it the first time i hate it like hell

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's good to get into the habit of taking breaks instead of giving up. I know it's an annoying thing people say all the time, but if you stick it out for long enough, it will start to make a lot more sense. Do you know if you are kinesthetic or visual learner?

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

The measure of two complementary angles are in the ratio 1 : 5. What are the degree measures of the two angles? What is the solution of each proportion? A. 36° and 144° B. 15° and 75° C. 30° and 150° D. 18° and 72°

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

lol just 2 more please and i will go to sleep..... i am so tired

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course. :) This one is very simple, and can be used as a test-taking trick. The problem asks for angles in 1:5, so all you need to do is compare the ratio answers and see if they fit the criteria. :)

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. :)

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

HURRY LAST QUESTION.... http://prntscr.com/2ocm3z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is another 30-60-90 question, so you use \[\sin30=x/144\]\[x=144(\sin30)\] x=?

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. :)

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

lol it was graded wrong some of the answers u gave me lol

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

let me post them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, darn... many apologies, it's been a few years since I've done this.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

just waste of time i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do apologize, it was never my intention to make your answers incorrect.

OpenStudy (yacoub1993):

apoligy accepted
