Help! Okay, so a question is asking me to find the hypotenuse of this triangle ABC. So I started to find the hypotenuse of the bigger triangle that has the 10 as a short leg, so I could finish the entire triangle. I know that to find the other sides with angles and one side given I need to use the law of sines. So, I lined it up like: a/sin(30) = 10/sin(90) = c/sin (60) Now this is where I get confused as to what to do. For all I know, I could be approaching this wrong, so help would be great. Also, the triangle is attached below

which side are you trying to get? all of them or just AC? sin(30) = 10/(AC) (AC) = 10 sin (30)

Well, I'm trying to find the hypotenuse of the whole triangle, which would be AB, but I thought I would have to solve the individual triangles first?

yeah looks that simple

Oh okay thank you!

OpenStudy (triciaal):

so did you get 23?
