OpenStudy (mertsj):
6x-x = 5x. That is not a line. It is an expression. Need to post the problem correctly.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
with the same slope of 6
6x - 2 is line one
y = 6x - 2; (0, 0)
OpenStudy (mertsj):
Do you mean what is the equation of a line that passes through (0,0) and is parallel to y=6x-2 ???
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is equation y = 6x? what is the slope?

yes!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
what is the slope?
OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):
hence the 2 lines r parallel the slope of 2 lines r equal...
so the slope of function is equal to the slope of y = 6x -2
do u know wt is the slope of y= 6x -2 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
right, 6 is slope. I meant what is the y intercept?
OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):
having the coordinates (0,0) means that the line will pass through the point where x axis and y axis intersect... so the line will cut the x axis at 0. which mean the intercept is 0
