(2, 3, 5) (-2, 3, 5) (2, -3, 5) (2, 3, -5) these are the answer choices

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=solve {x+%2B+3y+-+z+%3D+2%2C+x+-+2y+%2B+3z+%3D+7%2C+x+%2B+2y+-+5z+%3D+-21}

When you have a multiple choice, start testing each choice until you get the one that works. (2,3,5) does not satisfy the firs equation x + 3y - z = 2 2+ 3(3)-5=6 is not equal to 2 You continue testing until you get the answer.

As you can see from wolframalpha (-2,3,5} satisfies the three equation and you are done. Of course, you can solve the three equations by hand.
