A fraction reduces to 36. If it's denominator is 6x^5, what is it's numerator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a^n / a^m + a^(n-m) 36 = 6^2 go from there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But where do they go? Where do I plug the variables in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. I'm in cali on vacation, therefor my regular math live lessons are at like 5 in the morning over here. no no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just multiply the denominator by 36 and you get the numerator, because it reduces to 36 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you thank you thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your very welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, if you multiply the denominator by 36 that product becomes the numerator.
