I need help making sense of this quote. "The principal object, then, proposed in these Poems was to choose incidents and situations from common life, and to relate or describe them, throughout, as far as was possible in a selection of language really used by men." By William Wordsworth. Please help me!!!!

Oh, I do love Wordsworth. Essentially, he is saying that the "principle object" or main cause of the poems is to describe parts of life as much as possible with the limits of language.
