@wio @Luigi0210

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the factors for 45 are 1,3,5,7,9,15 and 45 i believe, if there are more ill find out for you, if that helps let me know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me know if you need more help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i do need help, how can i put this question together im kinda confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill give it a look, im trying my homework at the same time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you, you do your hw first then help me :) ill be awake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, so i gave you the factors of 45, now see if there is any correlation between 45 and 77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think thats what the question is asking, its out of context though

OpenStudy (nikato):

So a. 45. And 45=49-4 See how 49 and 4 are perfect squares?

OpenStudy (nikato):

So 49-4 Using difference of squares, u have (7-2)(7+2) And now u found two factors. 5 and 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nikato can u help me as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so nikato, i have to find the scientific notation of the population of the earth. the approximate population is 7,142,000,000. i cant figure out how to express this as a notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

77 is not a perfect square :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lubbi the answer for a is 5 and 9. you get two squares, subtract them and they MIGHT be factors of your number.

OpenStudy (nikato):

For 77, find a perfect square number close to it, like 81 And @Jonesy9980 do u mind making another post for ur question to prevent spam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have posted it several times mate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it should like this right, a) 45 = 7^2 - 2^2 = (7 + 2)(7 - 2) = 9 * 5 b) 77 = 9^2 - 2^2 = (9 + 2)(9 - 2) = 11 * 7 c) 112 = 11^2 - 3^2 = (11 + 3)(11 - 3) = 14 * 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe so lubbi, im new to this whole extended maths stuff, im only yr 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay, o really haha :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you guys! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no prob

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yup, that's right. And ur welcome!
