@Destinymasha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Definitely A. Since address if like a formal presentation, when a teacher addresses you, it's usually very formal and serious! Haha. Besides, the others don't fit the definition. But with A, 'He gave a formal speech to the students in a very serious tone' works perfectly!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B, as The Ressling Family is a plural noun and talking about them as a neighbor would. Like, if I was in the Ressling family I would say 'our' mail.

@HelpHowDo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I'd say D. Because they similarly use rocks and such which is true. B would work too grammatically, but doesn't make sense. Same with C. So, I vote D.

The stars shine _______ in the country than in the city. Which word or phrase best completes the sentence above? A. radiantliest B. most radiantly C. radiantlier D. more radiantly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Definitely not A or C. Those aren't words. :P I think it should be D because it's comparing the country and the city, saying the country is brighter for stars, which is true. It could be B, but I still am leaning towards D. It sounds more proper.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Destinymasha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you want a good, valid source, you usually want to lean towards something un-biased. I think the best one would be A as that's direct source from the developer of the vaccine. B doesn't apply C is too recent D is not about the vaccine.
