A rolling ball will eventually stop rolling. Which describes one reason why this happens? The ball eventually loses its energy. Friction converts some of the energy into heat energy. Friction converts some of the energy into kinetic energy.

i want to say it is B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well all three happen, but i would say that in reality the first one happens heres why, like before energy cannot be created or destroyed the ball has potential energy and rolls when it is given force. So to say it loses its energy is a poor typo on the quiz, you could also try C. But i would personally go A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i will go with A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you get it wrong just argue that all three happen, rolling friction accurs retricewell as the dormenting of energy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
