Find the perimeter of the parallelogram.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (nikato):

So you know one side of the parallelogram is 16, so the opposite sides is 16 too

OpenStudy (nikato):

To find the other two sides which are the same, use the pythagoreom theorem 9^2 + 12^2 =x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 15?

OpenStudy (nikato):

Correct. And the perimeter would 2(15)+2(16)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

62?

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for helping me, i cant believe i forgot pythagoreom theorem...

OpenStudy (nikato):

No problem. Glad to refresh your memories
