There is 1 red gumdrop and 4 green gumdrops in a small jar. Also, 2 pieces of butterscotch candy and 3 pieces of cinnamon candy are in another jar. If Craig draws one piece of candy from each jar without looking, what's the probability that he will get a red gumdrop and a piece of cinnamon candy? A. 4/25 B. 2/5 C. 3/25 D. 2/25

These are independent events, so their joint probability is multiplicative. Multiply the probability of getting the 1 red gumdrop out of the 5 in the first jar times the probability of getting one of the 3 cinnamon candies from the 5 candies in the other jar.
