The steepest angle that a slope can maintain without losing its stability is known as the (Points : 3) angle of repose shear angle angle of resistance

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Angle of repose See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_wasting

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Assuming it is a cohesionless slope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An upper stage river would be characterized by (Points : 3) steep gradient slow moving water many tributaries all of the above

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Not even a thank you before the next question? Can I hear a little gratitude?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

TY SIR

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

I think it is steep gradient based on this webpage. Not my expertise... http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080207105747AAgxeC9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK thanks

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

And thanks for the medal. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Areas of high vulnerability to stream erosion are polar areas with seasonal rainfall mountainous regions with high rainfall flat areas with high rainfall temperate areas with intermittent rainfall

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

High rainfall combined with steeps slopes sounds like mudslides to me, so that sounds like pretty drastic erosion to me.

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Just a guess, though.
