Differential Equations 17 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

the sum of three consecutive integers is 93 fin the product of the integers 29,760 32,736 35,904 24,360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide it by 3 to get you an idea of where the integers start

hartnn (hartnn):

do you know the meaning of consecutive integers ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get 31 but there isn't a 31 in the answer choices

hartnn (hartnn):

yeah, thats because 31 is the middle number its not the product

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first find those integers let say x is the first integer then x+1 is the second integer and x+2 is the third integer now x+(x+1) +(x+2) = 93 form this equation find x, once you find x then find x+1 and x+2 to get the product multiply x , x+1 and x+2

hartnn (hartnn):

if 31 is the middle, which other 2 numbers are consecutive to it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok it would be 30 and 32 but the answer choices are different

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, 3 numbers are 30,31,32 now you need the product 30*31*32 calculate that and then look at choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the choices are 29,760 32,736 35,904 24,360

hartnn (hartnn):

can you calculate 30*31*32 for me , please

hartnn (hartnn):

use calculator or google :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i multiply it or do i add it because you have a star

hartnn (hartnn):

* means multiplication.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooohh i see i go it thank you and its 29,760

hartnn (hartnn):

you are \(\huge \color{red}{\checkmark}\) welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so muchhh your awesome and smart thank you again

hartnn (hartnn):
