OpenStudy (loser66):

Given (0,0,1,1) and (1,1,0,0) 2 independent vectors in C^2 such as (1.0) , (1,-1) each of which is independent of (1,1) and use them to doctor up the 2 given vectors. One possibility is to adjoin (0,0,1,0) and (1,0,0,0) So, {the given vectors and (0,0,1,0) , (1,0,0,0) }form a basis in C^4 I don't know how to "doctor up". Please, explain me

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Yeah, I don't get it, either. Not sure what it's asking.

OpenStudy (loser66):

they give me 2 vectors (0,0,1,1) and (1,1,0,0). then ask me find another 2 to get a base in C^4 , That is their solutions. but I don't understand their way.

OpenStudy (loser66):

I have my own way to get the result. But I want to understand this way, too.

OpenStudy (loser66):

@zzr0ck3r

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol, it says doctor up?

OpenStudy (loser66):

yes

OpenStudy (loser66):

do you remember the name of the map to get linearly independent set like|dw:1392006556072:dw|
