what sources led to the appearance of the industrial revolution in new england?..this is a question which has to be answered with at least one paragraph...and i just cant remember the answer
The Industrial Revolution in New England was sparked by Samuel Slater who was a worker in an English cotton factory that secretly escaped from Britain. He had to escape because the English where keeping their industrial progress a secret keeping it "on the down low' so to speak and forced all cotton factory workers from leaving the country. Once Mr. Slater arrived he constructed a cotton-spinning machine for the Americans from memory. which is remarkable. As for its resources I'm not sure what the question is asking for, naturally the Americas had cotton, tobacco, coal, other mined metals. From trading they had sugar, slaves, etc. So if the question is referring to what helped the Revolution in New England it could be all the natural resources like cotton and mined metals, since northern America was the location of many factories and such they had all the materials they needed here to build them and the machines in them. Plus the local supply of cotton and slaves from the South keep the factories producing and full of un-paid employees leading to more profit. Which allowed for an accelerated growth during this period.
that is the best answer ever..thanks
