help me please hurry thatnk you Two lines form a linear system. The slope of one line is 4 and it has a y-intercept of (0, -3). The slope of the other line is 4 and it has a y-intercept of (0, 8). How many solutions does this system have? 0 1 2 infinitely many

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for solution you have to see where the lines are crossing each other. as both of these lines are have the same slope means that they are parallel lines. now for two parallel lines we have two conditions either there are infinitely many solutions or there is no solution at all. here the y-intercepts are different therefore these lines have no solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

thank you
